About NYC
Located in the Empire State
Building in midtown Manhattan,
The King’s College is
strategically positioned to take
advantage of all New York City
has to offer. Home to over 8
million people, the city boasts
some of our nation’s most
influential institutions and
significant landmarks: Wall
Street, the United Nations,
Times Square, Broadway, Madison
Square Garden, all four of the
major American broadcast
television networks (ABC, CBS,
Fox, NBC), the Statue of
Liberty, Ellis Island, Lincoln
Center – the list goes on and
on. In fact, the city is often
referred to as the “capital of
the world.” Some have described
New York City as one of the
global economy’s three “command
centers” (along with London and
Tokyo). A diverse collection
of world class museums, art
galleries, music groups, and
performing art venues converge
to make NYC one of the world’s
most popular tourist
destinations. The Metropolitan
Museum of Art is one such
attraction with over two million
works of art from around the
world, representing 5,000 years
of history. Just down the street
are the iconic MoMA and
Guggenheim museums. Across town,
The Lincoln Center of the
Performing Arts boasts a myriad
of artistic expression ranging
from ballet to jazz to opera.
It is no coincidence that The
King’s College chose New York
City as its campus. This city
influences and shapes culture
not just in the United States,
but in the entire world. To
