Josh Blander is completing a Ph.D. in medieval philosophy at the University of California, Los Angeles, after earning an M.A. in philosophy at Biola University and majoring in political science at the University of Pennsylvania. He has taught philosophy at Loyola Marymount University and UCLA, and before coming to King's, he held a fellowship at Georgetown University. He writes and lectures regularly on medieval philosophy, especially the late medieval metaphysics of William of Ockham and John Duns Scotus, and works on topics in contemporary metaphysics, as well.

Josh was born and raised in rural Pennsylvania and maintains deep, abiding loyalties to Philadelphia sports teams. He, his wife, and two children recently moved from beautiful southern California to New Jersey and are wondering where all the fantastic Mexican food went.
