Inviso Official Visit Weekends

Latin The act of visiting, or going to see a person, place or thing; a brief stay of business, friendship, ceremony, curiosity, or the like, usually longer than a call.

It’s no coincidence that The King’s College chose New York City as our campus. Not just any city, New York is the City -- a hub of ideas and institutions that shape the culture of the entire world. Day in and day out, King’s students confront the challenges and realities of the world on our doorstep. At Inviso, you’ll join high school juniors and seniors from across the country for a weekend to investigate The King’s College, New York City.

Inviso I: October 29-30, 2010
Inviso II: November 5-6, 2010
Inviso III: November 19-20, 2010

Spring Inviso I: February 18-19, 2011
Spring Inviso II: March 11-12, 2011
Spring Inviso III: April 1-2, 2011
Spring Inviso IV: April 15-16, 2011

Inviso is a Friday-Saturday event that begins first thing Friday morning with campus tours commencing between 9:00am and 10:00am. Then you will hear from our Academic Provost, interact with a panel of faculty representatives, and visit a class, giving you an overview of The King’s College academic philosophy. We invite you to be our guest Friday evening at a seated dinner in Times Square and a Broadway show! On Saturday you will tour our student apartments and hear presentations from our President, Financial Aid department, and several student representatives. We’ll wrap-up the weekend by 3:30pm on Saturday so you can fly out Saturday evening, or stick around and explore the city for another day!

Inviso is open to high school seniors who meet our minimum requirements of a 3.0 GPA and either an 1100 SAT (Math/Reading) or a 24 ACT. Inviso is free for each student and one parent, and there is a $75 registration fee for each additional guest.

The Medical Release Form is required for all guests under 18 who are unaccompanied by a parent or guardian.

Can’t make Inviso? We still want you to experience King’s! Call our Visit Coordinator 212-659-3610 to schedule a personalized visit.
