Sophie has played basketball since she was in 4th grade. She played Varsity all four years of high school, where she was team captain her junior and senior year. She was leading scorer her junior year, and led in assists both her junior and senior year. Sophie was named MVP her junior year and received the OHSAA (Ohio High School Athletic Association) Scholar Athlete Award her senior year. She plans on pursuing a graduate degree in economics after King's.
