Dominick Chiodi - Head Coach, Women's Basketball

From 1994-2001, Dominick coached at Jack Curran’s basketball camp. His first High School coaching job was at Roslyn High School on Long Island. In 2001, when he became the Athletic Director at Kingsborough, Dominick also held the position of Head Men’s Basketball Coach. In the 2001-02 season, Kingsborough won the CUNY Championship and Dominick was named CUNY Junior College Coach of the Year.

The next season he decided to coach the Women’s Basketball team at Kingsborough because the program had been struggling for years. By his third season, they won 11 games and lost in the CUNY Championship. That same year they also qualified for NJCAA Region XV Tournament but lost by only 8 points to defending National Champion Suffolk Community College. In the 2006-07 season I served as Assistant Basketball Coach at Adelphi University. We won the East Coast Conference Tournament and qualified for the NCAA Division II National Tournament.
