How to Apply for Financial Aid
Step 1
Complete the FAFSA online at www.fafsa.ed.gov
Step 2
Receive your award letter

Award letters are mailed on a rolling basis
beginning in February and will give you an estimate of the aid you can expect
to receive – including scholarships, grants and loans.

After the enrollment deposit is submitted and
you have access to your student portal (or if you are a current student)
all financial aid will be viewable in the “my financial aid” section of
the portal. Physical award letters will not be mailed.
Step 3 (Returning students may skip step 3)
Send in your deposit
- In order to s secure your spot in the incoming, fall 2012 class an
enrollment deposit of
$250 must be submitted.
- There are two ways to do this:
- Online at www.tkc.edu/epay
- Send a check made out to The King’s College to the following address:

Step 4
Respond to your award letter in your
student portal
- Once we receive your deposit you will be given access to your student
portal. Notification and login instructions will be sent in a separate
e-mail.
Step 5
Apply for loans
- In order to receive the loans you qualify for you need to accept them
in your student portal by clicking the box next to “accept”. You must also
apply for them using the following links:
- Stafford loan application
- Complete Entrance Loan Counseling
- Complete the Master Promissory Note (MPN)
- Parent PLUS loan
application
- Alternative loan applications
