Is King’s accredited?
Yes, we certainly are. The King’s College is institutionally accredited by the New York State Board of Regents and the Commissioner of Education, a nationally recognized accrediting agency located at 89 Washington Avenue, Albany, NY 12234 (518) 474-3852.

Do you have housing? Do we have student housing?
Our students live in a luxury apartment building on the same block as the Empire State Building. These are apartment-style living arrangements that are spacious by New York City standards. The building features a 24-hour concierge service and top-notch security.

How can my child afford The King’s College?
In addition to scholarships from The King’s College, your son/daughter may also qualify for federal grants or federal student loans. Beginning in January of his/her Senior year, when the new tax year begins, the government will begin accepting applications for aid. Once you have filled out the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) and have included our school code (040953) then the government will process the form and send the results to our Financial Aid Office. We will then send you a financial aid award letter.

What does the college do to ensure a vibrant spiritual life?
We are serious about spiritual formation of students and have chosen a path for accomplishing this that is distinctly different from other Christian colleges. We offer small group Bible studies and discipleship. Each incoming student is assigned to a small group led by an upper-class student where they will be challenged, encouraged, and supported.

This is not the only way for students to grow spiritually. From Christian faculty to student-led worship services, from outreach and evangelism to biblical worldview development, the entire fabric of the institution is designed to create spiritual leaders who are ready to take on the world.

What can my son or daughter do at The King’s College?
Campus life is different at King's from most other colleges or universities, but few other colleges can boast a location in midtown Manhattan with all of the cultural, athletic, spiritual, and academic offerings this provides. We don't just encourage our students to be involved in the real world, we require it.

However, we also know that the campus is the proving ground for students. It would have been easy to start clubs and organizations simply because we know that we need them, but instead we have taken the approach that all organizations should represent student-led initiatives. Our students sense a need and move to fill that need. Using this approach, students have started a student government, a model UN, a newspaper for midtown Manhattan, a worship band, to name but a few of the opportunities available. If your son or daughter has a vision for being a pioneer and starting something that will become part of King’s legacy, then we want them at The King’s College!

Do your provide opportunities for students to engage Missions?
At The King’s College we take seriously our Lord’s call to evangelism and discipleship. This kind of understanding of the faith-stretching power of personal evangelism is central to our developmental endeavors at King’s. One of the ways that this is done with students is to give them opportunities in missions. Our goal is for every student to have at least one cross-cultural international opportunity during their four years at The King’s College.

Students from King’s have already done summer missions projects in Peru, Albania, and the Middle East. Many other students have joined ministry teams led by our parent organization, Campus Crusade for Christ.
