Bill Moyers to visit King's
 
NEW YORK, January 12, 2009—The King’s College will welcome veteran journalist Bill Moyers tonight at 7 pm in Classroom 1 as part of the Senior Fellows speaker series. The event is open to the public.
 
Moyers is one of the most recognized journalists of our time. He joined PBS in 1971 and before that served as press secretary for former president Lyndon B. Johnson. He has received more than 30 Emmy awards, including the lifetime achievement Emmy in 2006.
 
Senior Fellows welcomes renowned, over-50 professionals to speak with students in a question-and-answer format, moderated by King’s Provost and WORLD Editor-in-Chief Dr. Marvin Olasky. The class encourages students to think about their futures through exposure to a variety of accomplished professionals and leaders who enjoy their work.
