Author to visit King’s

NEW YORK, January 26, 2009—The King’s College will welcome children’s book author Sally Lloyd-Jones tonight at 7 pm in Classroom 1 as part of the Senior Fellows speaker series. The event is open to the public.

Lloyd-Jones was born in Uganda, grew up in East and West Africa, attended boarding school in her native Great Britain, and now resides in Manhattan. She worked for many years in children’s book publishing and now writes fulltime. Her books are well-loved by readers near and far and she has written far too many to count.

Senior Fellows welcomes renowned, over-50 professionals to speak with students in a question-and-answer format, moderated by King’s Provost and WORLD Editor-in-Chief Dr. Marvin Olasky. The class encourages students to think about their futures through exposure to a variety of accomplished professionals and leaders who enjoy their work.
