 About King's

King's gathering information for alumni directory

Dear Alumni,

Communication with you is the basis of alumni relations. In order for communication to happen, though, we must first ensure that we have your contact information, and second, that it is the correct contact information.

To accomplish this, we have begun updating our alumni database of over 16,000. This is a big job, so we have hired a third-party group called Publishing Contents Incorporated (PCI) to help us. PCI has over 20 years experience in the data gathering field and its clientele includes Harvard, Princeton, Georgetown and other renowned schools. If a PCI representatives calls, please take the short time to update or confirm your information.

This project has a three-fold mission. We want to effectively communicate with you, giving you the most recent news in ways you want to receive it. We also want to offer you the option of purchasing an alumni directory, an exciting opportunity considering one has not been printed in 15 years! As you talk with PCI, they will give you the opportunity to purchase a directory. This will allow you to stay in touch with old friends as well as establish a network of business contacts among other alumni. However, if you choose not to purchase a directory, rest assured your information will still be included.

Finally, we hope this information will facilitate more interaction between students and alumni. As you know, The King’s College aims to graduate future leaders who can impact our culture positively for Christ. As we communicate consistently with you, we hope that you will use your expertise to help current students and new alumni through providing internships, sharing contacts, or mentoring.

With these three things in mind, we are excited about renewing our connection with some of you and continuing the relationship we have already established with others. I hope that as we share with you the news surrounding your alma mater, you will increasingly take ownership of the institution in the months and years to come. We realize that process starts with us: We must first give you the means to do that. That is why we hope you will participate in this contact-gathering process. As always, if you have any questions do not hesitate to contact me.

Best,

Clay Cook Director of Alumni and Parent Relations
