King’s Recognized In The Ivy League Christian Observer

NEW YORK, February 23, 2010—The Ivy League Christian Observer spotlighted King’s and its Provost, Marvin Olasky, in its Winter 2010 publication. The Christian Union, which quarterly publishes the Ivy League Christian Observer, aims “to change the world by bringing sweeping spiritual transformation to the Ivy League universities, thereby mobilizing godly leadership for all sectors of society.”

The article, Disseminating Christian Ideas In New York City, announces that Ivy Alumni are among “Distinguished Visitors” at The King’s College. Two Ivy Alumni, Mark Whitacre and Ted Cruz, were separately interviewed last semester by Olasky. Each told his story in front of a room full of King’s students, and Olasky later turned the interviews into articles for WORLD magazine, with its readership of 400,000 people.

Podcasts of the interviews are made available here:
The Distinguished Visitors Series is also video-recorded and uploaded to YouTube. For a clip of Mark Whitacre’s interview, visit: http://www.youtube.com/user/TheKingsCollegeMedia
