Professor of Islamic Studies to Address Students
 
New York—The King's College will host Dr. Peter Riddell, Professor of Islamic Studies and Director of the Centre of Islamic Studies at the London School of Theology on January 24 at noon. Professor Riddell will deliver a lecture on resurgent Islam and lead a Q & A time with students.
 
Professor Riddell has written a number of books and articles based on his study of Southeast Asia, Christian-Muslim Relations, linguistics, and his time spent in the aid and development sector, working in Asia and the Middle East.
 
Riddell completed his B.A. in Indonesian and Malay Studies and French Language and Literature at Sydney University. He then moved to Canberra to take a PhD in Islam in Southeast Asia at the Australian National University.
