Senator Armstrong Receives an Honorary Doctorate from The King's College
New York— Former Colorado Senator Bill Armstrong is the recipient of an honorary doctorate from The King's College.

Armstrong, a long-time friend of the College, spoke at May commencement.
|

“I count it an honor and a privilege to have a close association with an institution such as The King's College,” stated Armstrong.
|
| |
|
Senator Armstrong served the public with character and conviction for 28 years— 10 years in the Colorado Legislature, six in the House of Representatives and 12 in the U.S. Senate.
|
| |
|
Senator Armstrong is one of the youngest ever elected to the legislature— at the age of 25. He was the youngest majority leader in the Colorado State Senate and soon developed a reputation as an issues-passionate and intellectual legislator.
|

|
During his time in office, Senator Armstrong focused on reforming economic issues, Social Security, and human rights. He also worked to restore the GI bill and the Family Welfare Reform Act of 1988.
|

|
The King's College enrolls ambitious students who want to participate in the secular marketplace of power and ideas. They will be positioned for positions of leadership, using the Biblical worldview skills and classical education and training that they have received at the College.
