The King’s College to Continue its Distinguished Visitor Series in Fall 2010

NEW YORK, August 25, 2010—The King’s College will have 20 writers, economists, politicians, and cultural leaders answer questions in front of students this fall as part of its Distinguished Visitors Series. Among the notable guests are George Gilder, Dick Armey, Chuck Colson, and Amity Shlaes.

Dr. Marvin Olasky, Provost of The King’s College and editor-in-chief of WORLD magazine, will interview guests and encourage student questions. Some of these interviews will form the basis of articles for WORLD.

“The Distinguished Visitors Series allows students to learn from and interact with some of our nation’s top leaders,” Provost Olasky said. “This look at passionate lives complements the theoretical understanding students gain in the classroom. And this year we’re complementing our established invitees with some younger American leaders who will talk about ideas but also about discerning callings and starting careers.”
