John Beckett, Member of The King's College Board of Trustees and CEO, Authors Second Book
 
New York-- John Beckett, CEO and Chairman of R.W. Beckett Corporation and Vice Chairman of The King's College Board of Trustees recently authored his second book, Mastering Monday: A Guide to Integrating Faith and Work.
 
Mastering Monday is a sequel to his first book, Loving Monday: Succeeding in Business Without Selling Your Soul, which provides an explanation on how Beckett has integrated a biblically based approach into his company’s workplace.
 
Mastering Monday is a memoir and tutorial on how a young CEO faced down adversity and achieved remarkable success in business along with personal fulfillment by ordering in life and work around the people and principles in the Bible,” said President J. Stanley Oakes.
 
Beckett writes from personal experience, when as a young man in 1965, he took over R.W. Beckett Corporation. He has succeeded in growing his company from 12 employees and $1 million in sales, to three companies, 600 employees and approximately $100 million in sales.
 
Beckett has been received numerous awards including, Ernst & Young’s manufacturing “Entrepreneur of the Year” in 2003.
