Economist, Dr. John Stapleford, to Speak to Students
 
New York— Dr. John Stapleford, Professor of Economics at Eastern University, will speak to The King's College students on February 22 at 5 p.m.
 
Stapleford’s most recent book, Bulls, Bears and Golden Calves, outlines the moral challenges of various economic theories and explains how ethics are meshed with economic life and analysis.
 
Over the past 10 years, Stapleford has completed more than 50 applied research projects involving various aspects of regional, state and local economies He earned his master's degree in government planning from Southern Illinois University and his Ph.D. in urban/regional economics from the University of Delaware.
 
Dr. Stapleford is currently vice-president of the Delaware chapter of the National Association of Business Economists.
