International Ventures Returns from Israel

NEW YORK, June 27, 2012—On Wednesday, May 25th, a group of students, staff, and faculty of The King's College returned from the Israel - one of a series of trips that is part of the College's International Ventures program.

During the semester leading up to the trip, the students spent months researching and debating current issues in Israel. While overseas, the team tested their theological and political assumptions about the land. Through building relationships with university students and faculty, the students and leaders gained a new appreciation for the complexity of the Middle East.

While on the Venture, the students toured the Knesset, met with leaders of non-government organizations, and engaged with the top students in the nation.

Photos, articles, and interviews will be posted via www.tkc.edu and our social media sites following the return of each International Venture team.

The King’s College educates students in the ideas upon which nations rise and fall. With a focused curriculum in the liberal arts tradition, students are prepared to help shape, and eventually to lead, the institutions of government, civil society, media, law, business, education, the arts, and the church. King’s is a Christ-centered college located in New York City.
