Prospective Students Experience The King's College

NEW YORK, November 12th, 2012—On the weekend of October, 26th and November 9th, high school seniors considering college education at King’s visited the College for the second Fall Inviso visit weekend. Inviso, a Latin word meaning to visit, inspect, or investigate, is meant to acquaint prospective students with The King’s College, its institutional vision to prepare students for influential leadership, and New York City.

Highlights of the Inviso visit weekends include open faculty lectures, tours of Manhattan’s Financial District, and dinner in Times Square followed by a Broadway show. Students visiting King’s in November and October enjoyed dinner at the world famous Trattoria Dopo Teatro in Times Square. Following dinner, parents and students enjoyed Peter and the Starcatcher on Broadway. Dinner and the Broadway show are provided free of charge by the College.

On Saturday, prospective students ate breakfast and heard from President Andy Mills about the mission and vision of the College. Prospectives also had the opportunity to interview current students and hear from student body president Samuel Tran.
