President Mills Announces Matching Gift of $3 Million
| |
The King’s College President, Andrew Mills, announced today that a donor has provided a matching gift to The King’s College of $3 million. All donations to The King’s College for the remainder of the year will be matched dollar for dollar.

President Andy Mills said, “This gift will greatly enhance our capacity to build a world-class Christian college. It will enable us to fulfill our mission of preparing students for roles of principled leadership in the world's strategic institutions."
| |
The matching gift comes at the end of a year full of challenges and opportunities for The King’s College. In September, the campus relocated from the Empire State Building to a splendid new campus around the corner from the New York Stock Exchange. In October, the College changed presidential leadership and weathered Hurricane Sandy. Now, at the end of 2012, this gift gives a powerful boost to fundraising for scholarships and for faculty and student development.

Dr. Brian W. Parker, Vice President for Enrollment Management and Institutional Advancement said, "We are overwhelmed by the generosity and kindness of this donor and so pleased by their partnership in advancing the mission of The King’s College. Matching gifts are a unique opportunity for the community to come together and see their financial support have an immediate, double impact."
| |
Please consider making a tax-deductible, matched donation of $100, $250, $1,000, or more to support the mission of The King’s College.
| |
• All gifts and pledges will be doubled, and so will the impact for students
• Any amount is eligible to be matched (including corporate matches)
• Give before lawmakers cap the charitable tax deduction in 2013
