Proffesor Bret Schundler to appear on Fox Business

New York—On Wednesday, November 7, at 7 p.m., Bret Schundler, professor at The King’s College and former mayor of Jersey City, NJ, will be a guest on Fox Business Channel’s, “America’s Nightly Scoreboard” hosted by David Asman.

An accomplished businessman and politician, Schundler is most famous for his highly successful career as mayor of Jersey City, NJ, the second largest city in New Jersey with a population of approximately 240,000. Known for his honesty and his passionate pursuit of reform, he was the first Republican elected mayor in Jersey City since 1917, serving three terms from 1992 to 2001.

During his second and third terms, Schundler won with 69 and 59 percent of the vote respectively, thus achieving the greatest winning margin for a mayoral candidate in the history of Jersey City. Schundler was the city’s longest-serving mayor in more than half a century.

Additionally, Schundler ran for New Jersey governor in both 2001 and 2005, winning the Republican nomination both times, but losing in the general elections.

Schundler joined The King’s College in spring 2007.
