King’s hosts private screening of Ben Stein’s new documentary
| |
|
NEW YORK—On Wednesday, February 20th, at 6:20 PM, The King’s College will host a private screening of Ben Stein’s soon to be released expose, “Expelled: No Intelligence Allowed,” at AMC Empire 25 theatre, 234 W. 42nd St. in New York City.

| |
|
“Expelled” follows Stein’s shocking journey in which he discovers that students, educators and scientists are being ridiculed—even fired—for believing that there is evidence of “design” in creation (God), and that perhaps life is not just the result of accidental, random chance. The movie’s website states, “Big science has expelled smart, new ideas from the classroom,” but “Ben blows the horn on suppression.”

A question and answer session, featuring Producer Mark Mathis, King’s Provost Dr. Marvin Olasky, and leading public intellectual Dr. William Dembski will follow the screening. Dembski made headlines in 2000 when, after hosting an intelligent design conference at Baylor University, where he was an associate professor, he was stripped of all teaching duties from 2000-2005.
