Expert on Terrorist Jihad Speaks at The King's College
 
New York—The King's College will host Professor Mary Habeck from the Paul H. Nitze School of Advanced International Studies at Johns Hopkins University on Friday, October 13 at 4 p.m. She will speak on the threat of radical Islamic jihad against the West.
 
Habeck recently authored a new book, Knowing the Enemy: Jihadist Ideology and the War on Terror. She also testified on Islamist extremism in Europe to the U.S. Senate Committee on Foreign Relations.
 
She is a military historian with broad expertise in European, Soviet, Russian and American military affairs. She received her doctorate in History from Yale University and was the 2001–02 recipient of the Morse Fellowship.
