King’s hires Bearden B. Coleman as full-time faculty member
 
NEW YORK—The King’s College is pleased to announce the appointment of Bearden B. Coleman as a full-time professor of English starting fall 2008.
 
Coleman received his B.A. from Biola University and his M.A. in creative writing from Texas State University. For his thesis he wrote a novel, Forward. Before coming to King’s as an adjunct professor of English he taught College Writing I and II at Texas State University.
 
In addition to teaching, Coleman has been an editorial assistant for the magazine, American Short Film and an assistant fiction editor for Front Porch Journal. He has volunteered with 826 NYC, a non-profit that helps students ages 6 to 18 with their writing skills, and with E-Café, which reunites siblings separated by foster care.
 
The King’s College is a Christian liberal arts college located in the Empire State Building in New York City.
