Information on the Shooting at 34th St.
For parents, alumni, and new and returning students
NEW YORK, August 24—On Friday, August 24th, at approximately 9:00 AM there was a shooting that wounded nine people and killed two at 34th St and Fifth Ave, outside the Empire State Building. The gunman was shot and killed by police.
Those wounded are not individuals affiliated with King’s.
The King’s College completed the move to its new campus at 52 Broadway in Lower Manhattan (near Wall Street) on Wednesday, August 15th. The College has no offices in the Empire State Building.
