The King’s College Announces Fall Inviso Dates
Four Inviso Weekends Scheduled
NEW YORK, September 7, 2012–The King’s College Office of Admissions has released the dates for its fall 2012 campus visit weekends. Inviso, the Latin word which means to inspect, is a long standing tradition at King’s which has enabled hundreds of students each year to experience a rich and inspiring weekend on one of the world’s most unique campuses.
Each Inviso visit weekend is catered to both the prospective student as well as their family and is free of charge. The event begins on Friday morning with a tour of our campus, strategically planted in the heart of New York’s iconic Financial District. This is followed by a class visit and a chance to share lunch with esteemed members of the King’s faculty. Additionally, participants will hear a speech by President Dinesh D’Souza and enjoy an evening of relaxation and entertainment with dinner in Times Square followed by a Broadway show.
Associate Director for Admissions, Luke Smith, hopes the event is as entertaining as it is informative. “It goes without saying that the campus visit is an essential step in the college search process, but for many, it’s unnecessarily stressful,” said Smith. “Our Inviso guests will leave having experienced an enjoyable, all-access weekend in the world’s most exciting city. But more than that, they’ll have had their most pressing questions answered from the perspective of their future classmates, parents of current King’s students, staff and faculty including the President of the College.”
The dates have been confirmed as the following:
• Friday and Saturday October 26-27
• Friday and Saturday November 9-10
• Friday and Saturday November 16-17
• Friday and Saturday November 30-December 1
