NEW YORK—The King’s College is proud to announce that renowned author, teacher, and speaker Udo Middelmann will join the faculty in fall of 2008.

King’s College provost and WORLD magazine editor-in-chief Marvin Olasky calls Middelmann “one of the world’s best teachers of philosophical apologetics and other topics in philosophy.”

Born and raised in Germany, Middelmann is president of the Francis A. Schaeffer foundation in Gryon, Switzerland and New York, NY. He is also a sought-after speaker and has given seminars and lectures in twenty-eight countries on six continents.

Middelmann has been a consultant for the Russian Ministry for Education. He was also Education Program Director for Food for the Hungry International and Associate Pastor for the International Presbyterian Church in Huemoz, Switzerland.

Some of Middelmann’s published works include Pro-Existence: Man in the Circumference of Reality, The Market-Driven Church, and The Innocence of God, as well as numerous articles and contributing chapters in books by Francis Schaeffer.

This will be Middelmann’s second tour with the college. From 1989-1995 he was the Percy Crawford Chair for the Department of Religion and Philosophy when the college was located in Briarcliff Manor, NY.
