“What do you guys do for fun at
King’s?” When confronted with
this question, I’m always
tempted to respond with
something like, “We sit around
and discuss political philosophy
and the fine points of Christian
theology.” While that’s not
entirely true, we talk a lot
about ideas that sometimes seem
removed from daily life.
Thankfully, we do have plenty of
opportunities to discuss these
ideas in the context of current
issues. |

Saturday, May 10, The King’s
College welcomed parents and
friends from across the country
for its sixtieth annual
commencement exercises.
Forty-one students received
diplomas and Chairman of the
Board of Trustees John D.
Beckett received an Honorary
Doctor of Laws Degree. |

undergraduates at a tropical
location. But eight students
from The King’s College recently
sacrificed what could have been
a typical spring break at the
beach in hopes of having a
