PARENTS WEEKEND DATES FINALIZED
 
Mark your calendars. The college is proud to announce that Parents Weekend 2010 will take place Friday, October 22 through Sunday, October 24. Parents Weekend is an exciting opportunity for you to spend time with your child and get acquainted with the daily lives of King’s College students. Parents can sit in on classes and may even take part in house activities. We hope to see you there.

ADMISSIONS UPDATE

STUDENT LIFE UPDATE—CITY ENGAGEMENT
 
Each year, the nine Houses of The King’s College each adopt a project that enables them to serve the people of New York City. In the past, these projects have ranged from raising funds to combat sex trafficking, tutoring and ministering to inner-city high school students, and volunteering in various shelters throughout the city. This year, students decided to change the process for this aspect of student life. Read on for a message from freshman Jake Bedlion, the new City Engagement Director.

HOUSING UPDATE FROM DEAN BENNETT
 
Last month, we reported that The King’s College was undertaking an intense search for real estate to build housing for our students. At our current rate of growth, we will quickly outgrow our leases in The Herald Towers and The Vogue. So, until God provides a building of our own, we have found temporary housing for our male students in a new part of town. Read on for a message from Dean of Students Eric Bennett.
