SEARCH FOR NEW PRESIDENT MAKES PROGRESS
The King's College has been involved in a nationwide search for a new president,
and the progress has been significant and encouraging, according to Bruce
Dingman, the consultant in charge of the search.
"From a list of more than 200 candidates, we now have 10 people with whom we're
involved in active conversations," Dingman said. "These are all outstanding
individuals, with significant successes in their careers. We've been pleased
with the caliber of person who has responded to our search. But finding the
person who will be the right fit for King's will be the result of a careful
process. It's more than just what's on the resume."
That said, Dingman believes the school is still "on track" to have a new
president in place by July 1.
