Announcement from
Clay Cook At the end of February, Clay Cook, Director of Alumni and
Parents Relations at King’s, will transition out of that role with the college.
Clay has served in this capacity since August 2008. While he was working with
The King’s College, Clay was still on staff with Campus Crusade for Christ, an
arrangement due to expire in August 2010. At that time Clay would have needed to
leave Campus Crusade and take a salaried position with The King’s College. In
the fall of 2009, Clay and his wife, Lyn, were presented with two other
positions with different ministries in Campus Crusade. After much prayer, Clay
and Lyn felt God was clearly leading him to resign his position with King’s and
become the City Director in New York City for Campus Crusade’s marketplace
ministry. When asked about his years at The King’s College, Clay said, “I have
loved my time at King’s, and I feel like I’m leaving the position without
accomplishing as much as I would have liked. That being said, I do feel like
we’ve made some strides and I hope that whoever fills this role after me will be
able to work alongside many of you to build on what we have started in Alumni
and Parent Relations.” As the college continues to grow in the area of Parent
Relations, the focal points will be to further the mission of the college in
the areas of Prayer, Communication, Recruiting, Fundraising and Career
Development. If you have questions or input, please send any e-mails to
parents@tkc.edu or go to the
Parent Association website for further
information. |
