EXPLORING OFF-CAMPUS SPIRITUALITY: SERVING IN THE CITY

The King's College intentionally fosters community through programs like the House system and Tent, but some King's students are branching out into the city to find ministry outside of the college. Some find this through their churches, while others get involved in volunteer organizations in the city. The Student Voice chatted with a few students about how and why they seek community outside the Empire State Building.

DR. DAVID CORBIN TO PUBLISH BOOK ON ARISTOTLE

In May 2009, Dr. Dave Corbin's book, A Reader's Guide to Aristotle's Politics, will be released. An assistant professor of Politics at The King's College, Dr. Corbin wrote the book with Dr. Judy Swanson, Professor of Political Science at Boston University, who worked with Dr. Corbin on his dissertation on Thucydides' Peloponnesian War a few years ago. In September 2007, Dr. Corbin signed a contract with Continuum Press to co-author this interpretive essay on Aristotle's Politics.
