Parents Leadership Council

The Parents Leadership Council (PLC) at The King’s College is a select group of current King’s parents, who volunteer to serve renewable one-year terms. PLC members are recruited based on their ability and willingness to serve as ambassadors of The King’s College and their interest in developing resources that support the College experience for all students.

The PLC facilitates opportunities for parents to become involved in the life of the College and to preserve, enhance, and improve the quality of the King’s experience. PLC members host events, enhance relationships, provide contacts for other parents, and work to stimulate participation in Parents Weekend.

Members of the PLC have an important impact on parent engagement at the College through annual gifts of $5,000, volunteer work, and thoughtful counsel to College administrators.

For more information about the PLC and how to join, please contact Jennifer and Jim Groth, Co-chairs of the PLC, at groth@tkc.edu or 760-390-1951.
