New Student Housing Application

We’re glad that you are taking steps toward becoming part of the residential community at The King’s College!

For the 2012-2013 school year, The King’s College is excited to offer the following housing sites:

The Herald Towers and The Vogue
Located in midtown Manhattan (The Herald Towers on 34th Street/Broadway and The Vogue on 37th Street/6th Avenue), these triple-occupancy luxury apartments are just a few minutes’ walk from the Empire State Building. Amenities include twenty-four hour security and concierge service, free wireless internet, dishwashers, laundry facilities, and roof-top decks.

Ludlow Residence
Located on the corner of Ludlow and Delancey Streets in the lower east side of Manhattan, the Ludlow Residence is a seventeen story building featuring free wireless internet, free laundry, and a student lounge equipped with cable television, a large kitchen and study space. It is a dorm-style residence with mostly single-occupancy rooms and is just 20 minutes from the Empire State Building.

Clark Street Residence
The Clark Street Residence offers double-occupancy studio apartments in the highly-coveted neighborhood of Brooklyn Heights, which is just 25 minutes from the Empire State Building.  Amenities include new furniture, mounted flat-screen TVs with cable programming, Wi-Fi, and security alarm systems in every apartment. Also, the building hosts a roof-top terrace, laundry room, community lounge.

King’s College staff live on-site at every housing location.

Your place of residence will be determined by the House in which you are placed.

The new student housing application process consists of 2 steps:

  1. Submit this online housing application, ensuring that all fields are completed, along with your non-refundable $50 application fee and your $400 security deposit (refundable until June 1) .
  2. Download, print, and sign your housing contract (note that students under 21 must have a parent or guardian co-sign the contract). Then submit your contract using one of the following methods:
  • Scan and email the contract to reslife@tkc.edu
  • Fax the contract to 212-659-3613, attn: Residence Life
  • Mail the contract to: Office of Residence Life, The King's College, 350 5th Avenue, Suite 1500, New York, NY 10118.

Housing will be provided on a first-come, first served basis, so it is to your advantage to complete your application process as soon as possible.

Statement of Understanding


  • I understand that I am applying for a two-semester binding contract beginning in the fall 2012 term and ending after the spring 2013 term.
  • Upon acceptance into housing at The King’s College, I agree to abide by all College policies as outlined in the Housing Contract and the Student Handbook.
  • I understand that I must submit a $400 security deposit along with the 2012-2013 housing contract. Applications, deposits and contracts will be processed on a first-come, first-served basis and are subject to room availability.
  • I understand that my security deposit will be held as security against payment and damages while I reside in housing at The King’s College. After leaving King’s College housing, the deposit will be credited back to me, less any damage costs.
  • I understand that if I choose to withdraw from housing before June 1 I will be reimbursed for my security deposit and will be released from my housing contract without penalty.
  • I understand that if I choose to withdraw from housing before July 23 I will forfeit my security deposit, but I will be released from my housing contract.
  • I understand that if I choose to withdraw from housing after July 23, I will forfeit my security deposit and I will be held responsible for full payment of yearly housing charges (or one semester of housing charges, if I am applying for the spring semester).
