New Student Housing Application Fee and Deposit
We’re glad that you are taking steps toward becoming part of the residential
community at The King’s College!
For the 2013-2014 school year, The King’s College is excited to offer the
following housing sites:
The Herald Towers and The Vogue Residences
Located in midtown Manhattan (The Herald Towers on 34th Street/Broadway and
The Vogue on 37th Street/6th Avenue), these triple-occupancy luxury
apartments are just a 20 minute subway ride to the campus at 52 Broadway.
Amenities include twenty-four hour security and concierge service, free
wireless internet, dishwashers, laundry facilities, and roof-top decks.
Wall Street and Hanover Residences
Located in the Financial District of Manhattan, these luxury
apartments are just a ten minute walk to the campus at 52 Broadway.
Amenities include twenty-four hour security and concierge service, free
wireless Internet, dishwashers, laundry facilities, dry cleaning, fitness
center, lounge, rooftop sundeck, package reception.
Clark Street Residence
The Clark Street Residence offers double-occupancy studio apartments in the
highly-coveted neighborhood of Brooklyn Heights, which is just 12 minutes
from our campus at 52 Broadway. Amenities include new furniture, mounted
flat-screen TVs with cable programming, Wi-Fi, and security alarm systems in
every apartment. Also, the building hosts a roof-top terrace, laundry room,
community lounge.
King’s College staff live on-site at every housing
location. Your place of residence will be determined by the House in which
you are placed.
Instructions
To apply for housing, first complete the form below to pay your
non-refundable $50 application fee and your $400 security deposit
(refundable until July 22nd).
Once your payment has been received, an
email will be sent to you with information on how to sign in to our
Residence website to complete your New Student Housing Application and
Contract.
Steps:
- Once you’ve created a new password, sign in using your TKC email and
new password.
- On your home page, click on Get Started.
- Complete steps 1-4: Applicant Information, Roommate Matching
Questionnaire, Housing Contract, and Review Application. If you are
under 21, your parent or guardian must also electronically sign the
contract.
- Click Submit Application once you have
reviewed your information.
Once your application has been approved, you will be able to view other
new students’ Roommate Matching Profiles, where you can search for and
request roommates.
If you would prefer that the Student Life staff place you with roommates,
we will be doing so periodically throughout the spring and summer on the
following dates:
- May 29th
- June 27th
- July 29th
During these dates we will also be assigning students (including those
who have matched themselves) to a House.
