Returning Student Housing Application
Current students at the King's College must complete this Returning Student Housing Application to indicate their intent to reserve housing space for the upcoming school year. Unless otherwise arranged, this application (along with a one-year housing contract due on "Apartment Selection Day") will secure campus housing for two semesters.
Clark Street Applications will be accepted between Friday morning, April 8 at 8:00am and Monday morning, April 11 at 8:00am.
Herald Towers and The Vogue Applications will be accepted between Friday morning, April 15 at 8:00am and Monday morning, April 18 at 8:00am.
Ludlow Applications will be accepted between Friday morning, April 22 at 8:00am and Monday morning, April 25 at 8:00am.
Applications will be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis within the provided application windows. Accepted applicants will then be ranked according to their total room points before Housing Selection Day. Any applicants that are not accepted to a particular housing site will be placed on a waiting list.
First-come, first-served means: In order to secure a space in housing, a student must submit an application within the application window before spaces fill up. Each application will secure a spot for the individual submitting the application, not for the entire room. Thus, if roommates want to ensure that they can live together, they must all submit their applications before the available spaces are filled.
Please remember to bring your signed housing contract with you to room selection day, otherwise your housing selection time will be forfeited.. If you are under 21, the contract must be signed by a parent or guardian over the age of 21. You can print off a housing contract here : http://www.tkc.edu/students/reslife/pdf/housingcontract.pdf.
Statement of Understanding
I understand that I am applying for a two-semester contract.
Upon acceptance into housing at The King’s College, I agree to abide by all College policies as outlined in the Housing Contract and the Student Handbook.
If I am living on campus for the first time, I understand that I must submit a $400 housing deposit by May 12. (If you are currently residing in housing, you do not need to submit an additional deposit.) I understand that my housing deposit will be held as security against payment and damages while I reside in housing at The King’s College.
I understand that if I choose to withdraw from housing before May 12, I will be released from my housing contract without penalty.
I understand that if I choose to withdraw from housing before July 31, I will forfeit my housing deposit, but I will be released from my housing contract.
I understand that if choose to withdraw from housing after July 31, I will forfeit my housing deposit and I will be held responsible for full payment of yearly housing charges.
