Summer Housing Application

Summer housing applications are now available. This year, the summer housing dates are from May 13 to August 17. Only current students at The King’s College are eligible to apply for summer housing. The cost for summer housing is $3,000. And your security deposit is $400. If you lived on campus this semester, your security deposit is already on file. However, if you lived off campus, you will need to resubmit your security deposit.

Summer housing for students at The King’s College will be located in Clark Street.  You will be living in studio styled housing with one (1) other roommate, for a total of 2 students per room.

Here are some important details to follow:
  • Fill out the form below. Be sure to list the names of your preferred future roommate(s). Specific roommate requests will be honored, if possible, but are not guaranteed. The College reserves the right to alter any room assignment in order to accommodate changing housing needs.
  • Complete the attached “Roommate Preference Form” and discuss it with potential roommates.
  • Summer housing application and contract due - April 2
  • $400 security deposit due – April 2
  • $3,000 housing payment due - April 2
  • Space in summer housing is limited, therefore, placement is granted on a first-come, first-served basis.
  • If you withdraw from summer housing after April 2, you will forfeit your $3,000 housing charge and your $400 deposit.
  • Student Life will place you in an available room and will notify you of your room assignment by April 23.

Statement of Understanding

  • I agree to abide by all College policies as outlined in the Housing Contract, the Student Handbook.

  • I understand that I need to sign and submit the Summer 2012 Housing Contract (including a parent’s signature, if I am under 21) on or before April 2.

  • I understand that my application, housing deposit and housing payment are all due April 2.

  • I understand that if I change my housing plans after I sign my summer housing contract, I can withdraw my contract until April 2.

  • I will not be reimbursed for summer housing charges after April 2.
As a current student seeking summer housing, you do not need to submit an additional deposit. Your original deposit will continue to be held as security-of-payment in case damages occur while you reside in King’s College housing.
