Event Date: November 11-12,
2011
The objective of this event
is for each House to win the
most number of games and
thus win the tournament. The
tournament will be played
over two nights: Friday
night is a round-robin
format, with full-length
men’s and women’s
championship games being
played on Saturday night.
Rules
- A House can have a
team of up to twelve
players.
- The team must have at
least four first year
students on the roster.
- The round-robin games
will be full court, 20
minutes long, with a one
minute halftime.
- The championship games
will be 40 minutes (two 20
minute halves) with a five
minute halftime.
- Helmsmen must report
the names of their players
to Shelli Cline
scline@tkc.edu by
November 7.
- If a House does not
field a team, or report
their roster by November
7, they will be
automatically
disqualified.
- Each House must
provide team shirts for
their players, with
numbers prominently
displayed on the back.
- Team shirt colors
will be coordinated
through the Office of
Student Development.
Send your shirt-color
requests to the
Assistant Dean of
Students by October 21.
Awards
Houses will receive
points according to the
Basketball Tournament scale.
