is to script and perform an
outstanding drama based upon
some variation of the theme
of “Avarice.”
Rules
-
Each House will have up to
four minutes for their
performance.
-
The theme of the drama
should center on some
aspect of the concept of
“Avarice.” (Houses have
freedom to determine the
specificity of the drama
theme and content,
provided there is an
intuitive relationship
with the broader idea of
Avarice).
-
All first-year House
members and Helmsmen must
participate in the drama.
A House may incorporate
other upperclassmen as
desired.
-
Optional: The House may
base their drama on a
movie clip of their
choice. The clip must be
no longer than sixty
seconds. The House must
submit their video, with
exact time sequence, by
Monday, September 7 to
Jennifer Tharp at
jtharp@tkc.edu. The
video will be played
before the House presents
their drama.
-
Each House must bring
their own props and movie,
if used, to the Fall
Retreat.
Judging
-
A panel of judges will
consist of attending
faculty and staff.
-
The panel will use the
following criteria for
judging performances:
