Statement of Understanding

Upon acceptance into housing at The King’s College, I agree to abide by all College policies as outlined in the Housing Contract, the Student Handbook, and the Residence Life Manual. I understand that I am applying for a two-semester contract. (Note: permission may be granted for a one-semester housing contract if a request is made before August 15.) I understand that if I change my housing plans after August 15, I will not be reimbursed for my housing charges. I understand that I will forfeit my housing assignment if I do not make payments according to schedule or respond to official mailings. I understand that I will forfeit my $50 non-refundable housing application fee if I choose not to attend The King's College. Upon acceptance into housing at The King’s College, I understand that I must submit a $600 housing deposit along with The King’s College Housing Contract within 30 days to reserve my spot. Applications received after June 1 will be processed on a first-come, first-serve basis and are subject to room availability. I understand that my housing deposit will be held as security against payment and damages while I reside in housing at The King’s College.
