Student Development Coaching
If you need to talk to someone, but do not wish to pursue counseling, we encourage you to set up a meeting with a member of Student Development. Depression, eating disorders, anxiety, family issues, grief/loss, gender identity, past experiences, spiritual doubts, adjustments to college, self injury, pornography, and gambling are all issues that may eventually need professional counseling, but can be initially discussed with Student Development staff. Don’t allow guilt or shame to rob you of joy. We are eager to listen and to provide suggestions for growth and healing.

To set up an appointment:

  • Option 1: Fill our the Coaching Request Form. You may request a specific staff member, though it’s not necessary to do so. Someone will get back to you within two days of your request.
  • Option 2: Stop by Student Services to fill out a Coaching Request Form. After you turn it in, a staff member will follow up with you to set up an appointment.
  • Option 3: If you know a member of Student Development, you may speak to them directly about setting up an appointment.
