Spiritual LifeCity Engagement
True education changes the way you relate to the world. Why study principles
that foster prosperity if those ideas never reach those who need them most?
At King’s we strive to make a difference in our immediate context—New York
City. We do not want to look over the lost and hurting around us.
Being a
transformative presence requires a heart of service and a lot of practice.
We encourage students to engage New York City and use their God-given
talents for the benefit of others.
Students of The King's College have a track record of serving our
community. The House of Truth, for example, has worked with Restore NYC to
combat sex trafficking in New York City. The House of Elizabeth has helped
victims of domestic abuse in their recovery process. The Houses of C.S.
Lewis and Margaret Thatcher have coordinated after-school outreach and
mentoring programs for local high school students.
Make a difference in
New York City. Volunteer opportunities can be explored
here.
