Paula Thigpen began working at The King’s College in January 2004. She is now the Assistant Director of Student Services and teaches courses as an adjunct faculty member. Paula began her early academic career in a NYC public school in East Harlem as a special education teacher. She worked specifically with the autistic and emotionally disturbed. Paula is currently an adjunct professor at Bethel Seminary where she teaches spiritual formation. She is a rabid NY Mets and NY Jets fan and her greatest moment was when she was wounded by a Mike Piazza foul ball. Paula also dabbled in the theatre as a member of Actor’s Company Theatre – a repertory company off, off Broadway.
