Student Life at The King’s College is a “laboratory” for applying the principles and ideas that you have been learning in the classroom to a real-life setting. You’ll develop skills such as motivating others, organizing events, and team building.

At King's there are a variety of organizations through which you do this: student government, newspaper, international club, outreach teams, the Tent (student-led worship ministry), international trips, and most importantly, The King’s College Houses.

Our Houses are one of the defining dimensions of King's. They prepare you to shape the culture of the college today in order to influence the fabric of society tomorrow. From the moment you enter The King’s College, you are a member of a House. Your membership and involvement in your House continues beyond graduation as an alumnus/a.

New York City plays a significant role in providing both learning opportunities and leisure activities outside of the classroom. Attend a lecture by an internationally renown scholar; listen to world-class musicians at Lincoln Center; explore the winding streets and quaint restaurants of the East Village; people-watch from the comfort of a Starbucks in Times Square; run through miles of trails in Central Park; or curl up with a book  in a coffeehouse on the Upper West Side.
