The King's College

Council of Regents

The Council of Regents believe strongly in the vibrant role of The King’s College in preparing students for principled leadership, equipping them for careers in which they will help to shape and eventually to lead strategic public and private institutions.

We believe that we live in a time in which the urgency to grow a new generation of conservative leaders who are firmly rooted in the ideas that have caused Western civilization to flourish, and made America great, has never been greater. We believe the way to achieve this mission is to provide our students with a rigorous academic program, rooted in the Oxford University Politics, Philosophy, and Economics (PPE) tradition, combined with access to the strategic institutions, media outlets, businesses, and companies located in the world’s most economically and culturally powerful city. Those who succeed in New York City are prepared to lead the nation.

The purpose of the Council of Regents is to assist the President in developing and executing the mission of The King’s College. Although the College’s mission is unapologetically dedicated to the truths of Christianity and a biblical worldview, the Council of Regents is designed to provide a critical link to the wider community, while supporting timely and relevant dialogue and action about key issues facing the College.
