We understand that not everyone goes straight from high school to college. In fact, many of our alumni took a “gap year” after high school to travel, serve in their community, and grow in their faith and their personal calling. These experiences are often key to your growth as a person, and that sometimes they involve serious academic and intellectual experiences that can be counted for college credit. Please submit your transcript from your gap year program to the Admissions Office so we can begin evaluating which credits will transfer.
If you’re in high school and are considering a gap year, make sure you check out the rules for transfer credit so you can maximize your Gap Year credit and make the most of your year.
If you’re an alumni of the gap year Impact 360 discipleship program, make sure to check out the Impact 360 Scholarship and keep in mind that your time at Impact may count for credit.
Please contact the Admissions Office at 212-659-3610, or email Katelyn Tamm, if you have any questions about how your gap year experiences could count for credit at King’s.
