athletics vision

The Athletics Program at The King's College provides students with the opportunity to enjoy competitive, recreational and instructional sports. We emphasize leadership and genuine involvement in teamwork, while demanding commitment, discipline and a strong spirit in play, at practice and anywhere teams meet or represent King's.

The Athletics Program promotes physical health, holistic well-being and practical skill development among all participants. We develop leadership and management skills, budgetary competence and professional qualities that serve well after recreation.

Sport clubs represent the College in competition or may participate in intra-club activities such as practices, instructional activities, social activities, demonstrationsor scrimmages. The team spirit athletes develop during these activities reflect the wholesome values of King's and the attitudes we expect graduates to keep throughout their careers.
