Celebrate the history-making achievement of the class of 2021 at Commencement Weekend May 7-9, 2021.

Registration is required for in-person attendees and participants at all Commencement Weekend events. Graduates must register themselves and their guests for events using the form below by Friday, April 30.

Dress Code: Business Professional

Commencement addresses by the keynote speaker, senior speaker, and valedictorian will be held at a single ceremony along with the presentation of annual graduate, staff, and faculty awards.

Event Details:

  • The ceremony will be live-streamed on this webpage, and no registration is required for virtual viewing.
  • Those nominated for awards are notified via email at the end of April.
  • A Class of 2021 photo will be taken outside after the ceremony with all in-person graduates. Graduates must bring their black caps and gowns for the photo.
  • All in-person attendees must complete and pass The King’s College COVID-19 Health Screening the day of the event in order to attend.

In-Person Attendees: 2021 graduates, faculty, staff (registration required)

Graduates are invited to department-specific celebrations with faculty from their programs. Tables will be designated for each program at the same venue with food provided and beverage tickets available for purchase. Masks may be removed only when seated.

In-Person Attendees: 2021 graduates, two guests per graduate, faculty (registration required)
Dress Code: Regalia, Business Professional

Graduate and faculty processionals and diploma presentations will be held at individual ceremonies for specific academic programs. Chairs of each program will confer graduate degrees, then deliver brief addresses to the graduates.

  • Class of 2021 BUS, FIN Ceremony – 11:00 AM
  • Class of 2021 PPE, RTS Ceremony – 12:00 PM
  • Class of 2021 MCA Ceremony – 2:00 PM
  • Class of 2021 JCS, ENG, HUM Ceremony – 3:00 PM

Event Details:

  • The ceremonies will be live-streamed on this webpage, and no registration is required for virtual viewing.
  • Each graduate is permitted two guests, regardless of vaccination or negative testing. Unregistered guests will not be permitted entrance.
  • A waitlist for unused tickets is open HERE. Single tickets will be granted on a first-come, first-served basis.
  • Graduates must arrive one hour prior to the ceremony times for graduate portraits and instructions. Guests must arrive 20 minutes prior to the ceremony times for check-in and seating.
  • All in-person attendees must complete and pass The King’s College COVID-19 Health Screening the day of the event in order to attend.

The King’s Council invites staff, faculty, graduates, and their families to a celebratory picnic in honor of the 2020 and 2021 graduating classes.
