Working as an intern for a reputable company in your field of interest provides an excellent opportunity to build your resume profile, increase your job skills, gain insight into an industry and build your network of professional relationships. In addition, internships always provide the possibility of leading to permanent employment in the future.
Types of Internships
There are primarily two types of internships: 1) paid internship and 2) unpaid internship for credit. The Office of Career Development serves as a resource in providing students information about both types of internship positions that become available.
