Reflections and Remorse: How Should America Respond to its History of Slavery?

Description: American slavery is a historical fact. However, much disagreement exists as to whether it is appropriate for contemporary American leaders, from politicians to pastors, to seek forgiveness and make amends for the nation’s historic sins. Eugene Rivers, Director of the Seymour Institute for Black Church and Policy Studies; Dr. Paul Mueller, Assistant Professor of Economics at The King’s College; and Dr. David Tubbs, Associate Professor of Politics at The King’s College.
