Join Thursday, September 14 at 12:15 PM in the City Room to hear from Pastor Christopher Wiley of Manchester, CT, present a talk on “Recovering the Household Economy in the Modern World.” This talk is based on his recently published book Man of the House: A Handbook for Building a Shelter That Will Last in a World That is Falling Apart, published by Wipf and Stock in 2017. Pastor Wiley has studied at Harvard Divinity School and Cordon Conwell Theological Seminary, taught at Eastern Nazarene College, founded and run an urban ministry in Boston, and managed rental property for over three decades. A man of many hats and vast experience, Pastor Wiley’s talk will connect economics, theology, social commentary, and practical advice as he explores our current. As heard on the Eric Metaxas show!
