Dominic Zappia is the Instructor of Biblical Studies at The King’s College. He teaches Introduction to New Testament Literature and Principles of Biblical Interpretation. Dominic earned a M.Div. from Samford University and a B.A. in Christian Studies with a concentration in Biblical Languages from California Baptist University. He is currently pursuing his Ph.D. in Religious Studies with a concentration in Judaism and Christianity in Antiquity at Marquette University. Dominic is writing his dissertation on the Gospel of John, exploring the rhetorical function of its characters. Dominic’s research interests include the Gospel of John, narrative-criticism, orality in the first-century, and intertextuality. He enjoys traveling and has been to Mexico, India, and Japan. He and his wife Laura live in New Jersey with their son Joseph.
